Clinical Supervisor
Position Type: Part-Time (20 hours per week) Compensation: $75–$80 per hour Required Credentials: LCSW-C, LCPC, or PsyD (Maryland licensure required)
Position Overview
Innovative Treatment Centers is seeking an experienced, licensed Clinical Supervisor to join our multidisciplinary team. This part-time leadership role is ideal for a seasoned clinician who is passionate about mentoring emerging professionals, supporting clinical excellence, and contributing to program development in a collaborative treatment environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group clinical supervision to LMSW and LGPC clinicians in accordance with Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners and Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists requirements. Review clinical documentation, treatment plans, and case conceptualizations to ensure quality of care and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. Support the development, launch, and oversight of therapy groups, including curriculum input, clinician preparation, and ongoing quality monitoring. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and treatment planning alongside psychiatric, medical, and clinical staff. Offer guidance on complex clinical presentations, risk assessment, crisis intervention, and evidence-based interventions. Mentor supervisees toward full independent licensure, providing constructive feedback and professional development support. Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical policy development.
Qualifications
Active, unrestricted Maryland license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or licensed Psychologist (PsyD) is required. Board-approved supervisor status in Maryland is required (or eligibility to obtain promptly). A minimum of three to five years of post-licensure clinical experience, with prior supervisory experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience with group therapy facilitation and development. Strong clinical knowledge of evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and substance use treatment modalities. Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
